  Description     : property-based testing for Scala

 ScalaCheck is a library for property-based testing of Scala and Java
 programs, inspired by Haskell's QuickCheck. Tests state properties
 that must hold for all inputs, and ScalaCheck checks them against
 generated data, shrinking failing cases to a minimal example.

The test suites of sbt, sbt-io, sjson-new, jawn, sbinary and
scala-parallel-collections use it. It will be built for Scala 3 with
scala-debian-helper and maintained in the Java team:
