Description : common C++ libraries for the Euclid software

Alexandria is a collection of C++ libraries developed by the Swiss
Science Data Center (SDC-CH) for the Euclid space mission. It provides,
among other things:

- tables with ASCII and FITS backends (via CCfits)
- n-dimensional arrays and grid containers
- histograms, KD-trees and self-organizing maps
- numerical utilities (interpolation, integration, function handling)
- source catalog and configuration infrastructure
- Pyston support

It is built with the Elements framework (ITP #1152855) and is a
required dependency of SourceXtractor++ (ITP #1023539). The earlier
SourceXtractor++ packaging effort stalled on these prerequisites.
