Dear Maintainer, Recent upgrade changed the linux kernel on Debian stable from linux-image-6.12.113+deb13.1-amd64 to linux-image-6.12.115+deb13.1-amd64 When booting on this new kernel, there is no more sound output on my USB sound card Motu M4. Despite it's still listed. Booting back on linux-image-6.12.113+deb13.1-amd64 resolves the issue. The problem and solution is reproducible. I see other user reporting similar regression for this kernel but other usb sound card Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 https://www.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/1xmr6pd/trixie_sound_external_usb_broken_with_new/ Here is my model from dmesg: [ 4.403962] usb 1-10: New USB device found, idVendor=07fd, idProduct=000b, bcdDevice= 2.04 [ 4.403967] usb 1-10: Product: M4 [ 4.403969] usb 1-10: Manufacturer: MOTU # cat /proc/asound/card4/stream0 MOTU M4 at usb-0000:02:00.0-10, high speed : USB Audio Playback: Status: Running Interface = 1 Altset = 1 Packet Size = 144 Momentary freq = 48000 Hz (0x6.0000) Interface 1 Altset 1 Format: S32_LE Channels: 4 Endpoint: 0x02 (2 OUT) (ASYNC) Rates: 44100, 48000, 88200, 96000, 176400, 192000 Data packet interval: 125 us Bits: 24 Channel map: FL FR FC LFE Sync Endpoint: 0x83 (3 IN) Sync EP Interface: 2 Sync EP Altset: 1 Implicit Feedback Mode: Yes
