/etc/init.d/turnstile, as shipped, has this LSB header: # Required-Start: $syslog $remote_fs # Required-Stop: $syslog $remote_fs elogind On a system with openrc-init and no elogind, OpenRC reported turnstile as depending on elogind. Removing elogind from Required-Stop removed the dependency. A stop entry should not create a start dependency. I saw this on 28 October 2026 and no longer have the exact output, but I can reproduce it if that would help. Debian forky amd64, openrc 0.64.1-2, openrc-init 0.64.1-2, turnstile 0.1.11-3
Hi,
Thanks for this. I had noticed the same and already have a fix queued
for turnstile.
