lsm fails to cross build from source source as it builds for the build
architecture. The build happens during dh_auto_install. This is unusual.
debhelper does not pass cross tools to make install. I suggest leaving
dh_auto_build in place as debhelper passes cross tools there. Once doing
so, lsm cross builds successfully. I'm attaching a patch for your
convenience.
