Today I upgraded my woody setup and with it gpm. With that my synaptics
touchpad stopped working almost completely. I could get -some- movement
out of it, rarely, and never what I wanted but then it would eventually
stop moving the mouse.
On backing down to my previous version of gpm (1.19.3-6) I got full
functionality back again.
This is my /etc/gpm.conf:
device=/dev/psaux
responsiveness=
repeat_type=msc
type=synps2
append="-2"
If you need any more info or any testing done please yell. I need this
sucker to use my laptop comfortably. :)
