don't is recognized in emacs, but don’t isn’t. Considering as Unicode is
becoming more popular, I think the version of words with apostrophes
should be added with the UTF‐8 apostrophe, ’ = \xe2\x80\x99. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion; I've also thought about that, for both the
spelling dictionaries and the wordlist packages.  But, so far, that's
all I've done.   I'll leave this request open until I decide
what to do about it.
