Putting an application in ~/GNUStep/Defaults/WMState with
[...]
        Applications = (
	  {
[...]
	    PasteCommand = "gimp-1.3 %s";
	    Name = "gimp-1\\.3.Gimp-1\\\\.3";
	    DropCommand = "gimp-1.3 %d";
[...]

It works, but get saved whit
            Name = "gimp-1\\.3.Gimp-1\\.3";
and next time
            Name = "gimp-1\\.3.Gimp-13";
so thath it just stop working...
