It's all in the Subjectline: IMO the only reason id3 doesn't default to an rfc822-style listing is in order to save screen-space; but I don't really know what the rationale is. No big deal if the author insists on keeping it that way. ;P
tags 192821 +wontfix thanks Well, it has been almost 7 years now, but I guess you still deserve an answer :) While the glory days of this little tool are probably over, I guess some strange people might still be using it in scripts, thus changing the default output format might cause headaches.
