The manpage intl:gettext(3) doesn't give enough information.

At minimum I suggest changing the description to "This is an
interface to the gettext functions which are used for
translating strings into other languages" and then adding a
SEE ALSO section pointing to relevant documents, perhaps
gettext(3), bindtextdomain(3), bind_textdomain_codeset(3),
textdomain(3), and the gettext info file.

Even better would be some discussion about these tags.  I
can't provide that because I don't yet understand them.
