If the program hpijs is piping output to is killed (or crashes) then hpijs
does not exit - it repeatedly writes the message below to syslog.

hpijs: unable to write to output, fd=7, count=79: Broken pipe

It should give up after a while rather than filling the logs until the disk
overflows.

I am using Debian testing with up-to date versions of everything. The
kernel version is 2.4.18

Thanks,
    Andy

Hi,

This is happening again. I'm getting my syslog filed with GB worth of
this error message, filling up all of the remaining space on the
partition, and have to delete it every time I boot my system because
else GNOME can't start.

Cheers,
