'apt-move' together with 'apt-get -d' is a powerful way to
create partial mirror repositories.  Maybe I can write sth.
in the next weeks, but I cannot provide debiandoc sources,
only DocBook/XML.

I know your point but it has been more than 3 years since you said you
write something on this topic.  Unless you provide even simple plain
text version, this will stay here forever.

Besides, current maint-guide (as packages) has following guide with much
simpler private archive if you are making small one.  (DDP web site has
build problem now.  So that is older )

Oops, I just forgot the bug report. In fact, I wrote sth. that
is on my p.d.o page since three years:

I'm not sure, if it is still useful, as I don't have a mirror
since more than one year.
(Of course, I would change the license from GFDL to GPL.)

Nice documentation but ...

Considering you are not actively using/updating this, I think inclusion
of this to general user documentation (apt-howto) is not a good idea.
But since this is short and nice, apt-move package itself can add this
or include pointer to your web page to benefit user.

Thus I reassign this bug to apt-move.

Sounds reasonable to me. Maybe better add the document, not only
a pointer, so that users who find errors could file bugs.

Either way with the licence, I've attached a diff to do some minor
updates:
- update history entry
- whitespce in source
- grammar/spelling issues.
- changed apache example

still todo:
- size of a current mirror (talks of sarge mirror, which is 150mb). I
don't have a mirror atm, so I can't test a squeeze mirror.

Licence is GFDL1.1, as currently stated as the works main licence. If
the licence is changed to GPL2(+), consider it re licenced to that.
