I get distorted fonts when the installation window runs, sometimes the
fonts are right, but some other times, the fonts are completely
distorted, and it becomes almost completely unreadable.

I have to mention my system is configured in spanish.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Can you please make a screenshot of the broken install window?
The current development release has a font chooser for the terminal
window. This may help. If you want to try this release, I can make you
a tgz available, or you can grab it via the subversion version control
system from https://oops.kerneljanitors.org/repos/synaptic

Sorry, stupid me (and I was thinking, "what a coincidence, got nearly
the same bugreport yesterday" 8)
