When sending a bug report about apt-proxy, I got the following confusing
mail in reply:

   Unfortunately it's currently impossible to use the Debian mailing lists with
   a e-mail address that matches procmail's check for mail coming from a daemon.

   This means that a username may not have "mail", "admin", "root", "master",
   "list" or similar strings in it (see procmailrc(5) for "FROM_DAEMON").

   We apologize for the inconvenience and ask you to consider using some other
   username.

What's confusing about the mail?

It is no information I requested, and it has nothing to do with my mail (I
didn't use such a username). I find that rather confusing. Why do I get
mail from debian about mail addresses I have nothing to do with? Why does
itt ell me that I used an unacceptable mail address when I didn't do so?

I guess most people will just assume that their bug-report was lost...

How is this bugs.debian.org? The message is from debian-bugs-dist, which
is the responsibility of lists.debian.org.

The bug tracking system didn't mangle Marc's mail on the way through.
The message shown on the bug page for #259989 is exactly what was
received, with the addition of SpamAssassin headers.
