Evolution contact view has two panes: contact list and contact previews.

In the contact list pane I see the category entry in most cases. However in some cases (mainly for long entries) the category is not shows. It looks like no more than 5 items per entry are shown. This can be a feature. However the criterion used to select what items of the entry should be shown do not seems to be consistent.

The real problems is that category is not shown in the contact preview!
This is a problems beacuse for some entry I have to open the edit
contact window to know the contact category.

I think this bug is not Debian related and should be sent to the
upstream authors.

The report is correct.  The contact's category is sometimes shown in the
contact list (depending on which other fields are filled) and is never
shown in the contact preview, where it should always be.
