[Feel free to classify this report as wishlist.] I've just received a mail containing: 533 ! Dec 12 To joey@finlandia 2 Output from your job 98 sh: line 42: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `'' sh: line 44: syntax error: unexpected end of file This only tells me that there was a problem in an atjob, but the job #98 does not exist anymore, nor does the atd attach the job to the mail, nor did the job succeed (I guess, but I can't be sure). Hence, I guess that it would be a good idea to attach the current job text to the mail if a job fails or creates some output because otherwise the mail is not that helpful. cron "fixes" this by placing the command in the commandline, but for at the job is more than just a single command but a large file.
