Please ship an empty /etc/courier/shared/index file, to silence the
repeated log messages about it not being found:

I have recently taken over maintenance of the courier packages.  I apologize
that nobody responded to your bug report.  Can you confirm if this is still an
issue with the current version of courier (1.5.1-3)?
