In a recent update to evolution (can't say which one in the past week or so, but I'm pretty sure I've been able to use Ctrl-A/E/F/P with 2.0.3 before), emacs keybindings stopped working in the composer. It's a pretty key feature for me that I'm sorely missing. What happened? (BTW: Yes, I do have the gconf key /desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_key_theme set to 'Emacs', and the bindings work fine in other gnome apps and widgets). thanks, mike
This continues to be broken in Evo 2.2.2. Any idea when/if it will be fixed?
This bug still exists 3 years later!
I don't know how it was 3 years ago, but for upstream related bugs, please report them directly upstream, there's no manpower in the pkg-evo team... :/ Sorry for that, and regards,
No problem. It might be a good idea to include a note to that effect in README.Debian. Thanks Jerry
