The latest version (basilisk2-0.9.20050730) builds. However, the binary
crashes on every run (see new bug #337496). This applies to the
official package too.

As package is reported succesfully building and the crashing is filed
as a separate bug, I consider this issue solved now.

Hello!

Here on i386 it builds woderful. Have a look at the #define's in the
sourcefile and check if it would work on s390 - No. I would like to fix
it, but i haven't access on a s390 poorwise, i'm not yet a DD. If
somebody would like to give me access, i would be happy to fix this
bug :-)

retitle 309501 FTBS: fails to build in s390
thanks

I tested basilisk2 in i386 and it builds perfectly.
I am retitle this bug to specify which is the real problem.

Hi Jonas,

You seem active otherwise, but haven't answered on those 3 RC bugs on
your package basilisk2. Do you plan to work on them ?

Thank you,

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

As expressed above in compact form, here's the status of those bugs:

It should be possible to build a debug'able package now.

I cannot reproduce the crash - please someone help test if the issue is
gone now.

The package still fails on some architectures. Help needed with figuring
out the right way to deal with that. Have a look at the patch I added in
0.9.20070407-2 and get in touch with me if that isn't enough to get started.

Kind regards.

Hi Mario,

Almost 2 years ago you proposed to help solve bug#309501 if only you had
access to the machines in question.

I notice that you are a Debian developer now. Congratulations! Would
you be interested in looking into this now?

If you like (and if you like the current packaging style), I'd be happy
to have you co-maintain the package with me :-)
