Hi Artur,

thank you so much for reporting this bug.
I have played viruskiller around two years ago in jessie and the
highscores are saved.
Now, I have just played viruskiller again and all my highscores are saved.
Take into account that there are three highscores classifications, one
for each difficulty level.
I am tagging this bug as unreproducible and I will close it when I play
again when I upgrade to the next stable version (buster).

Please, let us to know whether you are still suffering this bug.

Regards,
Jose

Hello Artur and Jose,

I have just tested the viruskiller version 1.03-1+dfsg1-2 and my scores
are not saved, so I'm considering the bug as reproducible. It seems all
3 levels of high scores are placeholder lists with the same names of
players, random points, and all with 100 kills.

One thing to notice is that at some point in the gameplay my scores
always go negative, so it might be simply that I could not displace any
of those fake players from the list because my points were not high
enough. But the fact that my own higher scores are not saved seems to be
a functional bug IMHO.

If anyone else is willing to dig into this, I hope this helps!
Cheers,

Tassia.
