I think Debian needs a utility that can restore proper Debian file ownerships and permissions if they ever get botched for some reason. I ended up typeing "chown -R nobody.nogroup" in the wrong directory, namely / and ended up doing the best job I could trying to repair the damage. Over 3000 files got hit before I could stop it. I think there needs to be a comprehensive utility to keep the system on track if ever any files get out of whack for whatever reason. i.e. the ownerships get changed, the permissions get changed...
