The instructions for installing with tasksel don't work for me. For that
matter, the bug referenced in section 8.1 is closed.

I am working on this.  The trouble is, there really isn't a replacement
for tasksel.  I have proposed an alternate package classification and
selection mechanism here:

Until we've had some discussion, I won't know where we're headed with
this.  However, I hope a debtags-based install method will be ready for
Etch.
