Hi,

Until yesterday (version 1.0.7), Firefox showed correctly MathML.
Today, the last 1.5 update messed up MathML. It's no longer showed
correctly.

Can you try with the following value in ~/.mozilla/firefox/rc ?
MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1

If it does solve the issue, that means the MathML renderer with the
pango backend is unfortunately broken. If it's not, then that's another
problem... in which case, could you provide some mathml (broken) examples ?

Thanks

Mike

Hi,

doesn't solve it here. MathML display is better with Pango disabled,
but far from perfect. Example page is

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/mathml/demo/texvsmml.xhtml

The binomial coefficient isn't rendered (among others), and the
whole display engine seems buggy (no proper redraws when restoring
the window, page up/down doesn't update the display properly etc.).
I can provide screenshots if that helps.

Regards,

Jan

You can close the bug, a workaround exists (see the #361183 thread).
