- Open an Imap folder while online
- click 'write' to create a new message
- write anything
- cut down the connection
- try to save message ... impossible
the default action is to save the message on the Imap server ... if it
is unreachable for any reason, the message cant be saved directly.
I would expect TB at least to offer to save message in local folder. I
mean, it would be wonderfull if TB offered a save-to tree like when
moving messages: when moving it offers a menu with all email accounts
and local folders. That menu could be duplicated in the 'save message'
menu.
Solution : save message as a file ( which will be called .asc )
then open saved message, ask to show * messages ( default is to show
.eml, while the message has been saved as .asc !!! ) then you can finish
the work ... by the way you loose the possibility to change the
destination address and subject ... you just saved and restaured the
content, not the header !!!
