The package is named lpr, but files under /etc/ are all over the place:
/etc/default/lpd
/etc/init.d/lpd
/etc/cron.weekly/lpr

It should all be one or the other, including the package name.

The one place I agree that may be changed is to use /etc/cron.weekly/lpr
to lpd.

Package name should remain lpr as that is what people would look for
historically. The lpd just refers to the print daemon.
