Hi, aptitude is intended to replace debfoster. However, it would be a much better replacement if aptitude had a view with all packages that are manually installed, so that I can see only relevant packages and decide if it should be removed from this list or not. Regards, Tino
severity 399019 wishlist thanks This can be achieved with the package display limit [1] set to "?installed !?automatic". (press `l' in the curses interface) Refer to the search terms reference [2] for more details. Hi, 2006-11-17 07:11 Tino Keitel: 2011-12-19 03:53 Daniel Hartwig: It could be a good idea to create a new view for this, but since the alternative is so easy to arrive to (in the main view, typing 'l' and then '~i!~M' and then OK button), I am not sure that it's worth it. Also, nobody seconded this request in the ~decade that it has been open. In the meantime, I am marking as +wontfix at the moment, to try to clean up the list of issues that are more likely to be implemented in the near future. Cheers.
