The manual advertizes:
       xhost/mask
	Only  machines  on  specified  networks  are  permitted  to  connect  to the program.
	In the case of class C network 192.168.1.0, for example, use 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0.

doing so stone says:

	$ stone proxy 3333 10.9.11.0/255.255.255.0
	Dec 12 12:25:08.910949 46931893356240 start (2.3c) [15589]
	Dec 12 12:25:08.911258 46931893356240 netmask by bits pattern is deprecated: 10.9.11.0/255.255.255.0

and quits. 'deprecated' does not say forbidden. Using 10.9.11.0/24 works, though.

The stone package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
