Hi,

I have a doc file that is displayed right by oowriter, abiword and
antiword. However, catdoc surprisingly displays a different content.

I suspect that the author did several revisions of this file because
she had to send similar files to multiple people. So she probably
deleted the text she sent to somebody else, and then entered the text
for me. And catdoc would be displaying the former instead of the latter.

Thus, it might be a problem in the way catdoc handles doc files that
contain a kind of versioning (might be related to the 'quick save'
feature of word to append modifications to a file instead of rewriting
the whole file).

I'd be happy to provide the problematic file in a private email to help
you reproduce the problem, but I can't put it on the BTS. Let me know
which email address I should send it to.

Hi,

It seems that this is a limitation of catdoc, but I could take a look if
you send a test file that reproduces the problem.

In any case, catdoc still reads many other files, so I am lowering the
severity of the bug.
