Both bsdgames and mono-mcs have a program called "monop" (one in /usr/games and one in /usr/bin). According to the Debian Policy Manual 10.1: "Two different packages must not install programs with different functionality but with the same filenames. [...] If this case happens, one of the programs must be renamed." <http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-files.html>
both bsdgames and mono-mcs contain a "monop" program. bsdgames in /usr/games, and the other in /usr/bin. bsdgames's monop has been around since 1993 or so and has that name on the bsd systems that bsdgames's games come from. It probably has few users, so renaming would not be too annoying, aside from diverging with a long tradition. What's the situation with mono-mcs's monop?
