Hi If you want people to not use forwarding addresses to subscribe to lists, it should be easy to change the subscription address for all lists one is subscribed too IMHO. Note that this is related to #295812 which asks for an option to unsubscribe from all mailing lists one is subscribed too (the part about multiple addresses is less important IMHO). Cheers Luk
Hello, I'd just like to express my support for this wishlist bug as I am the 2:nd time during a 15 year timespan in the middle of the process of moving my personal primary address (as well as my precious Debian subscriptions), i.e. it would not scratch my itch, but I am convinced that the combined scratches would yield a possible implementator real good karma and he would definetly deserve to have his name written in big letters "courteously of ..." right next to that "mv" button. Regards, Magnus
I am hit by this problem, too. Replacing the EMail address for all subscribed mailing lists should be a single database operation with a user-friendly, web interface, and maybe with a confirmation dialog via EMail. This works very well for other mailing lists, e.g. the lists on vger.kernel.org or for the OpenBSD mailing lists. Regards Harri
