I was not having this problem until yesterday and I do daily updates/upgrades.
Do you have a multi-core machine? Daniel
I don't think so, I have a old iMac ... processor : 0 cpu : 750CXe temperature : 14-16 C (uncalibrated) clock : 500.000000MHz revision : 34.21 (pvr 0008 2215) bogomips : 49.79 timebase : 24960000 platform : PowerMac machine : PowerMac4,1 motherboard : PowerMac4,1 MacRISC2 MacRISC Power Macintosh detected as : 256 (iMac "Flower Power") pmac flags : 00000010 L2 cache : 256K unified pmac-generation : NewWorld by the way, at office I also see the same problem, there I have the following, which is a lot faster than what I have at home, but I don't recognize it as a multi-core either.
On Thu, Nov 01, 2007 at 09:06:07AM +0100, Mario Frasca <mfrasca@zonnet.nl> was heard to say: OK, then it isn't a duplicate of some existing bugs. Daniel
I had the exact same bug that appeared also when upgrading wheezy some years ago, and I finally get rid of it changing the TERM envvar from xterm-256color to screen-256color-bce (I use screen). So maybe you should have a look at your TERM as well?
Hello, 2007-11-01 08:06 Mario Frasca: 2013-05-21 06:57 rixed@happyleptic.org: Can you please confirm if this is still happening in recent machines/systems? Also, the problem with screen happened also with a Mac, or with any kind of hardware? Cheers.
