Sometimes when I open a folder in nautilus, the contents is
shown as "0 items". More than once I've then deleted the
folder, only to think, later,"hang on, I KNOW that folder is
not empty". It appears if my desktop is lagged due to a
heavy process, there can be a substantial delay before
nautilus displays the folder contents. Before then, it
incorrectly states "0 items".

I've put this at normal, although I have reservations
because it is misleading enough to cause data loss, even if
it does not cause data loss without some human
intervention...

Hey Jon,

this is an old bug.

Could you please still reproduce this issue with newer nautilus version
like 3.4.2-1+build1 or 3.8.2-3 ?

thanks

Hi Pedro,

I have abandoned GNOME and can't/won't verify any old bugs filed against
them anymore. Please do with them as you wish. If you are just going to
close them all, I will have reported some as jon+bts@alcopop.org and
others as jmtd@debian.org.

Thanks
