  When I use software that use gpm, as elinks or aptitude, I am not able
  to click on tabs or buttons.

elinks works with gpm, but aptitude doesn't.
Not sure why

It begins to make sense.

elinks compiles in gpm.h from libgpm2-dev
and it works.

aptitude uses cwidgets which uses libncursesw5-dev which uses libgpm2
and it doesnt work.

lynx uses ncurses and works OK

cwidgets is only really used by aptitude so is difficult to test.

therefore I think the bug is with cwidgets...
