On my laptop, the internal keyboard and mouse are sometimes frozen after resuming from
s2ram. This seems to be quite a common issue, as mentionned here :

Adding a hook as suggested seems to fix the issue.

Please consider adding this as default so that suspend just works.

Maybe we can ship this hook as an example
(/usr/share/doc/pm-utils/examples). Would that be sufficient for you?

In doubt, you're probably right not to enable that by default.

This is indeed a possibility. Another would be to have the hook in place
but not enabled by default, and a single line in some easy-to-find
config file to uncomment/modify to enable it (but I realize that
pm-utils has no files in /etc by default). Or any intermediate solution...
