   The advantage is that you can edit the font in the text file easily with any
   text editor, so you are independent from your actual terminal hardware and
   do not need stuff like svgalib
   .
   NAFE understands and creates PSF mode 1 and mode 2 files

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging nafe. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.
