Evolution doesn't display a text/calendar attachment, if the same EMail contains text/html and/or text/plain attachments. Instead, only the HTML part of the EMail is shown. This makes it impossible to "Accept" or "Decline" such appointments nor to automatically add them to ones local calendar. Such appointments are sent with Outlook 2007, so the problem will meet an increasing amount of people.
the original mail had all three attachments in "Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64" but saving it from Evolution decoded everything. I've removed other participants to protect their privacy.
My frequent correspondents at work just got mass-upgraded to a version of Outlook that generates this kind of meeting invite. No more Accept buttons :( Is there a way to get a meeting of this type imported into my Evolution calendars?
