Hi,
I'm happy with the new issue-mentors-pending feature of PTS which shows a TODO
message when a new version of the package get uploaded to mentors.d.n, but I
think it would be best to not show also the issue-new-upstream message together
with the former one if the new available upstream version is the same as the
version uploaded to mentors.d.n.
I mean, we should avoid TODO messages like this:
* mentors.debian.net has version 1.2.0~beta2-1 of this package, you should
consider sponsoring its upload.
* A new upstream version is available: 1.2.0beta2, you should consider
packaging it.
As PTS pages are dynamically generated, I'm attaching html page of an example
package, but you can notice the same issue with all packages uploaded to
mentors.d.n which a new upstream version is available for (according to DEHS
page).
Thanks,
Cristian
