One of my uses for Linux is in my work. Here I frequently work with Samba
Shares, and isn't very good work with Gnome way to access LAN.

If we have a shortcut do LAN shares un Nautilus, near mounted devices, it's
better to work. KDE4 has this already in Dolphin.

You can already create such shortcuts by clicking Places->Connect to
server.

However this is going to change (for worse) in nautilus 2.22, which
shows internal mounts made by gvfs on the desktop, regardless of their
usefulness. I will start to look into this issue once we make 2.22 the
default.

Cheers,

Hey Saulo,

this is an old bug.

Could you please still reproduce this issue with newer nautilus version
like 3.4.2-1+build1 or 3.12.2-1 ?

thanks
