I have a dual-headed X setup in which the two displays have different
resolutions and even different DPI.  In order to display fonts
correctly in both it is necessary that the DPI (and preferably font
size) for fonts be able to be set independently for each display.

You should be able to let X chose the correct DPI for each display, if
it correctly detects the display size. Forcing the DPI is not a good
solution anyway.

Beeing able to force DPI differently on each display could be helpful,
but I'm not sure it's even doable. The Xfce setting acts on xrdb stuff,
which may not be display-dependant.

Look at xrandr, if you want to manually tune DPI on each display (which
is not recommended, as I said)

Nice. if your display size is not correctly detected, it could be an
xorg problem too.

Yeah I'm not sure it's possible at all. What would happen when a window
is dragged and droped from a display to another? :)
