Some Debian packages use deb/debian/ds suffixes to indicate repacking of upstream tarballs. Please add note explaining this, reasons, options.
The convention seems to be documented in https://wiki.debian.org/DebianMentorsFaq#What_does_.2BIBw-dfsg.2BIB0_or_.2BIBw-ds.2BIB0_in_the_version_string_mean.3F The text in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=774843 seems to incorporate it.
