It would be nice to be able to subscribe to a feed with the latest results of uscan, as run by DEHS.

Initially I thought this might be best done in conjunction with the PTS's existing RSS feed; now I'm not totally sure.

Another possibility is have DEHS send out an email to
$pkgname@packages.d.o to notify the maintainer of new upstream
releases, and make this configurable so that maintainers can
opt-in/opt-out as desired.
