Some pages take time to be rendered, esp. when using freetype.  In
such cases it would be nice to be noticed when the next page is ready,
so that the presenter can use this time, and no time is lost.

I suggest several alternatives:

- small completion bar
- make cursor a watch during this time
- red/green light icon in a corner
- watch icon in a corner until done
