Hi,

When a message is resent, the To: header is kept and a Resent-To: header is added with the
new recipient of the email.

In the sent items view, evolution doesn't take into account the Resent-To: header, and hence
still displayed the original recipient stated in To:

I think this behaviour should be changed to show the real recipient of the email.

Cheers, Julien

Can't you just add “Resent-To” to the displayed headers? (in
Preferences/Mail/Headers)?

This would not allow me to sort the list of sent email (just an
example).
More over, it would add this header to all email while I rarely use the
redirection (usually when I have made an error when typing in the
address).

Cheers,
Julien

Ha you want it displayed in a column in the list, not in the preview.
Yeah, not sure it's possible (it's not on the available fields on view
editing)

No, it would not. I won't add anything, it will just display in the
preview the header *if present*.

Yes, sorry for not being precise in my original mail.
I guess it would require testing the headers before displaying the list:
if Resent-To: header is present and not empty, then display it in the
"Sent To" column, or display the To: header.

That's right, I had thought it would display it empty on all other
email.
