ippl can't display _quite_ as much info as icmpinfo does (the main difference I noticed was the icmpinfo can display size -- handy for ping o' death and the like), and since ippl already does most everything else and provides a great and centralized place to monitor these sorts of things, it seems a shame that this functionality not be fully merged in.
