$ mkdir repo
$ cd repo
$ touch good
$ mkdir bad
$ chmod 000 bad
$ syrep -zp --update . # there is no message indicating the failure
$ echo $?
1
$ ls .syrep
md-cache
$

I'd like to see some error message for non-readable directories like
there is one for non-readable files.
