Dear Debian Developers,

Since I made the Update from Debian 5.0.1 to 5.0.2, Brasero seems to be
buggy...the last Brasero Version works well (Burning Music,Data,ISO),but
after the regular Update to 5.0.2 Brasero is getting an Error when
burning ISO Images:At first it seems to be working but at the end of the
Process (99%) it'll be ending with an Error ("Unknown Error").When I
mount the DVD everything seems to work.I checked that after a restart
and burned the ISO with Nero Linux 3 and that works well...

The ISO Image I've tried to burn with Brasero 0.8.0-3 was:
http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/5.0.2/i386/iso-dvd/debian-502-i386-DVD-1.iso

The first Debian DVD for my Backup...

First I thougt the Image was bad or the DVD Media, but then as I told,I
checked it with Nero 3 and everything works....

My OS: Debian GNU/Linux 5.0.2
Linux Kernel: 2.6.26-2-686
Gnome: 2.22.3

Greetings,

A.Tieben

So, I think the Problem is that Brasero is calculating the ISO with 4479 MB but the ISO
is 4,4 GB...maybe I am wrong but at the last 9 MB Brasero is stopping burning. When I
change to Nero Linux 3 it is already 4,4 GB wich is
the real size. Can't be an Checksum Problem...any Ideas?
The Problem is:There is no "real Error" just an "unknown Error" wich can be everything ;-)

Greetings,

A.Tieben

Hi,

can you reproduce this bug with brasero 2.28 from unstable?

Thanks,
