I understand unbound-host does not read resolv.conf and regard that
as a feature. However, it /could/ read the search domain(s) from
/etc/resolv.conf, which would make it a little more useful for quick
use. Please consider.

Hello!

Replying to a bug from 2009, this is more than 12 years old! :)

Yeah, this is annoying indeed that unbound-host does not, by default,
read neither forwarders, nor the root key, nor the search domains.
And while for the forwarders and the root key there are options to
turn that on (I'd do it the other way around but heck), for the
domain search order there's no option at all.

But this is how upstream does it. We wont implement it in Debian,
I think...

Thanks!
