The program displays no icons showing current weather conditions (e.g. a
sun for mostly sunny, a cloud for mostly cloudy) for all weather
reports from the US NOAA National Weather Service.  The program is
able to download the text data with current conditions and display
it, but it doesn't seem to parse the data and select an appropriate
weather icon to display.   The only icon displayed is a zero with a
slash through it.

The program displays icons properly for reports from BBC Weather.
I am unable to download data from Environment Canada due to a separate bug.

you reported http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=541815 some time
ago. Since then, KDE Software Compilation had several releases. Can you please
verify whether the bug you reported is still present in a more current version
(and - if yes - specify which version)?

The issue still persists with the current KDE build (4.3.4-1) found in
