Iceweasel seems to have some problems with font sizes, as shown in this
screenshot where it's compared to google chrome:

http://fruple.com/kemper/font_sizes2.png

chrome's progression is clearly more linear while iceweasel has some
"spikes": 7pt is much bigger than 6, while being almost equal to 8. Same
thing at 9/10/11 points.

This problem is not limited to 3.5.5 as it happens with iceweasel
3.0.14 as well, all tested on a fresh squeeze install (build of fri nov
20 2009).

Hi,

Sorry for the late answer,

I can confirm the behaviour with the attached file. This could be
related to how character spacing is setup by iceweasel. Would you mind
testing with a vanilla firefox ?

Thanks

Mike

I'm running version 7.0.1-4 from testing now but it seems
have noticed problems with some pages in previous versions.
I started switched to chrome some time back to test some things out
and when I would come back to using iceweasel to test, the
difference was apparent right away.

The living area page of http://www.hobowars.com is much too
narrow and with a lot of border space on either side and tiny print.
It requires three or four clicks of 'Zoom In' to look like the same
page
rendered by chrome. If I refresh the page it snaps back to the
'skinny' version.

Other web pages don't seem to be as affected but I haven't tested
much. Attached are screen shots of the living area page in iceweasel
and the same page in chrome.
