There are no man pages.

This behavior also threw me for a loop.

root@gnu:/home/joey/tmp>getpcaps --help
Capabilities for `--help': =ep

I eventually figured out that it prints a usage message if
run without any parameters. I still don't know what "=ep" means.

Control: reassign -1 libcap2-bin

Is this still relevant for libcap2-bin?

Dear Maintainer,

The setcap(8) manpage references cap_from_text(3), which does not exist
on my system.

+1. Would be nice to improve documentation on this. I believe the correct man
page would be capabilities(7).

Sorry, this report got lost in my inbox.

cap_from_text(3), as documentation for development using libcap, is
shipped in package libcap-dev, not libcap2-bin.

This has been the case for a long time, so I'm closing the bug with the
version from oldoldstable.

Best,
Christian
